Rape: 5-year-old girl raped by father’s friend in Lucknow | Lucknow News

Lucknow: A 5-year-old girl was raped by her father’s friend in Indiranagar area of ​​Lucknow on Friday night when the accused, Satan Sharma, a 25-year-old resident of Takrohi, visited the girl’s house to drink alcohol with her father. According to police, the girl’s father and Sharma are habitual drinkers. The accused was on the terrace with his friend drinking. He came downstairs to fetch water and found his friend’s little daughter sleeping alone. Sharma first groped the girl and then raped her. The girl’s screams alarmed her mother, who ran from the kitchen to the bedroom, but by then Sharma had already fled the scene. DCP North Abhijith R Sahankar said the accused was arrested by the Indiranagar police and booked under the stringent POCSO Act and Section 65(2) of the BNS. The victim’s mother stated that Sharma was a frequent visitor to her house despite repeated omissions. She further stated that her husband had been drinking with Sharma on the night of the incident and that Sharma had brought the alcohol. When the mother entered the room and heard her daughter crying, she found her unconscious.
