Lake Elsinore man arrested on suspicion of murder

A 50-year-old Lake Elsinore man was arrested for allegedly stabbing a man to death, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department announced Sunday.

Officers from the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station responded to a report of an assault with a deadly weapon in a business parking lot in the 31000 block of Riverside Drive around 9:30 p.m. Saturday.

They found a man with multiple stab wounds and provided medical treatment before medical personnel arrived. However, the man was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.
