Arrested: Frank Feacher, African American, 19 years old, resident of Valdosta

On Monday, July 15, 2024, at approximately 5:00 p.m., E911 received a 911 call about a 2-year-old child who had fallen out of a car. Valdosta Police Officers, firefighters, and paramedics from South Georgia Medical Center arrived at the scene. Paramedics immediately began first aid for the child, who had visible injuries.

Through investigation, officers determined that 19-year-old Frank Feacher was traveling north on Bemiss Road in his vehicle with his three children in car seats in the back seat. As Feacher turned left onto Inner Perimeter Road, the rear door of his vehicle opened and his two-year-old child, who was in his car seat, fell out of the vehicle and landed on the roadway while still in the car seat.

Officers checked the child seats in the vehicle and found that none of the three were properly secured.

The two-year-old was taken to South Georgia Medical Center where he was treated and released.

On July 16, 2024, officers served warrants on Feacher for reckless conduct (misdemeanor), driving while license suspended (misdemeanor), and improper use of a child restraint (misdemeanor). After officers obtained warrants, they met with Feacher at his residence and arrested him without incident. He was transported to the Lowndes County Jail.
