Thomas Matthew Crooks was nicknamed the “school shooter” years before Trump’s attack

Julianna Groom – who attended Bethel Park High School with Trump’s would-be assassin – has shed further light on the harassment Thomas faced before his fatal attack at Trump’s rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

As Julianna told The New York Times … Thomas was called “the school shooter” by his classmates – they apparently often teased him because of his poor hygiene and his body odor.

According to Julianna, Thomas’s wardrobe of baggy pants and SpongeBob SquarePants shirts made him an “easy target” for bullies. Thomas, who is said to have tried unsuccessfully to join his school’s shooting club Due to his poor aim, he eventually abandoned his typical style… and opted to wear camouflage clothing instead.

Julianna says that Thomas often kept to himself in high school and avoided any attention. Her anecdote supports other reports that Thomas was bullied as a teenager … TMZ previously obtained footage of TMC is being harassed in class by another student.

In another video Thomas can be seen make offensive jokes about the size of his penis while a classmate makes bunny ears behind his head…one of the first times we’ve heard his voice on camera.
