Lee’s Summit police are searching for information about the missing 7-year-old

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Police in Lee’s Summit are seeking information about the whereabouts of a 7-year-old boy who went missing near the Eagle Creek Townhomes.

According to Lee’s Summit, Missouri, police, 7-year-old James McDonald was last seen on Thursday, May 9, at approximately 7 p.m. in the 2100 block of SW Timbertrace Ln. seen near the Eagle Creek Townhomes.

The child was described as a 5-foot-10 boy with brown eyes, black hair and a “Mahomes” haircut.

Residents in the area were also asked to check their security cameras to see if they have any footage of James on foot.

Anyone who sees James should call 911 immediately.
