Blount County pastor arrested for multiple sex crimes against a child

BLOUNT COUNTY, Alabama (WIAT) – A youth pastor in Blount County has been arrested after being accused of multiple sex crimes against a child.

According to Blount County District Court, Terry Murphree was arrested and charged with first-degree rape, nine counts of sexual intercourse with a child by a clergyman, electronic solicitation of a child, first-degree human trafficking, traveling to engage in sexual encounters with a child, three counts of first-degree sexual abuse and first-degree sodomy.

The lawsuit accuses Murphree of having sexual relations with a 13-year-old girl. He has no ties.
