CHAIN ​​ACCIDENT SENDS MAN FROM CENTERVIEW TO HOSPITAL | KMMO

A Centerview man was hospitalized Tuesday afternoon after a two-vehicle crash just outside the Johnson County line.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that 25-year-old Christopher Barnes Haggard was driving his pickup truck eastbound on Route 50 around 4:40 p.m. when he struck the back of another pickup truck that was slowing down because of another traffic accident. Barnes Haggard suffered moderate injuries and was taken to a hospital near Kansas City. The driver of the other vehicle is from Warrensburg and did not suffer any injuries.
