Salem

Monday

At 4:04 p.m., police responded to a car crash with airbag deployment and possible injuries at the intersection of Bridge Street and North Street.

A report of a suspicious person and/or suspicious motor vehicle brought police to 252 Bridge Street at 4:14 p.m.

At 4:46 p.m., police were called to 211 Washington St. and took one person into protective custody.

A report of a problem involving juveniles brought police to 32 Clifton Avenue at 8:22 p.m.

Police were dispatched to 201 1/2 North St. at 9:32 p.m. due to reports of fireworks.

At 9:34 p.m. an officer was dispatched to 117 Lafayette St. to investigate a previous burglary.

At 9:54 p.m. an officer was dispatched to 104 Lafayette St. to take a report of threats received.

Tuesday

Police were dispatched to 27 Ord Street at 4:49 a.m. and 20 Highland Avenue at 4:56 a.m. to maintain order during separate private towing operations.

A resident of 25 Varney St. notified police at 6:20 a.m. that he was being harassed.

Police were dispatched to Orange Street at 10:25 a.m. to search for a suspicious person and/or motor vehicle.

At 2:23 p.m. an officer was dispatched to CVS, 426 Essex St., for a shoplifting incident.

A report of an unwanted or uninvited guest brought police to 106 Lafayette St. at 2:28 p.m.

Beverly

Monday

Police were dispatched to Rantoul Street at 4:16 p.m. for a traffic accident after a bicyclist was struck by a white Audi SUV, which then sped away. The juvenile bicyclist was taken to Beverly Hospital. The bicyclist was traveling south on Rantoul Street and veered across the tracks when he lost control and crashed. The Audi was turning east onto Rantoul at a low speed when its tire contacted the boy’s leg and foot. The driver stopped and asked if he was hurt, but the boy said no, so the driver got back in his car and drove away. The boy was taken to Beverly Hospital as a precaution and for possible treatment.

At 4.26pm an officer was dispatched to an address on Bridge Street after the resident told police she had come home to find footprints in her flat that did not belong to her. Police said everything was fine and the flat did not appear to have been broken into.

At 6:42 p.m., police were called to Cabot Street for a possible domestic dispute on a boat in the Danvers River. At least one person was arrested.

Tuesday

At 5:43 a.m., emergency services were called to a location on Cabot Street where a person was lying on the sidewalk. The person was taken to Beverly Hospital in an unknown condition.

An officer stopped a scooter rider at 11:27 a.m. for not wearing a helmet. The 37-year-old driver from Gloucester was arrested on a warrant.

Beverly Police responded to 128 South at 12:45 p.m. to assist State Police with a man who called reporting chest pains. Beverly EMS and Fire Department arrived at the scene. The man was evaluated, refused transport, and was able to continue on his way.

At 1:09 p.m., police were called to a location on Enon Street for a fight. One person was taken to Beverly Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Danvers

Monday

At 6:03 p.m., police were dispatched to Sandy Beach (44 River Street) to search for lost dogs, but upon arrival, the dogs were missing.

At 6:35 p.m., the police were called to 45 Park Street because a moped had caught fire. The fire was easily extinguished.

An officer was dispatched to Memorial Field, 55 Conant St., because someone was ripping shingles off a roof. No one was found.

A call about three male shoplifters brought police to Walmart, 55 Brooksby Village at 10:03 p.m.

An officer was dispatched to McDonalds, 135 Andover Street, in reference to two disorderly women.

Tuesday

At 5:34 a.m., police responded to a four-car crash with multiple injuries at 310 Andover Street. No transports were reported.

An ambulance was dispatched to the Doubletree Hotel 50 Ferncroft Road for a suspected stroke of a 34-year-old woman. She was taken to a nearby hospital.

At 12:04 p.m., police were dispatched to Lowe’s Home Improvement, 153 Andover Street, for a report of shoplifting in the amount of $8,000.

At 12:32 p.m., police were dispatched to The Home Depot, 235 Independence Way, to arrest two shoplifters. Both were summoned to court.

Peabody

A caller notified the fire department at 1:20 p.m. that his dump truck’s load was on fire at Delande Supply, 58 Pulaski St. The officer reported that the fire, which originated from the garbage load, had been unloaded in the middle of the parking lot behind the building and extinguished. The officer reported that debris from garbage was still lying in the middle of the parking lot.

Police and emergency services responded to the intersection of Lynn Street and MacArthur Road at 3:51 p.m. for a two-car crash involving a 19-year-old woman with a neck injury. The Jeep driver was taken to Beverly Hospital.

At 9:24 p.m., police were dispatched to the vicinity of 16 Crowninshield St. after a caller reported people setting off fireworks in the parking lot. The officer reported that the debris left behind was properly disposed of.

Wednesday

Police stopped a vehicle at the intersection of Washington Street and Allens Land and summoned the 40-year-old male driver to court for illegal possession of fireworks.

Police were dispatched to Boston Children’s Hospital, 10 Centennial Drive, at 10:57 a.m. for a previous hit-and-run accident. The suspect vehicle was identified as a blue RAV 4. Further investigation is pending video footage.

At 11:44 a.m., an officer was dispatched to Country Club Road after a resident told police she believed she was the victim of identity fraud.

Marblehead

Tuesday

Two police officers, two fire trucks and an ambulance responded to the intersection of Tedesco Street and Leggs Hill Road at 7:09 a.m. for a car crash. No injuries were reported.

At 10:45 a.m. an officer was dispatched to Gregory Street to report a theft, forgery or fraud.

At 5:59 p.m. an officer was dispatched to Mohawk Road to report a general complaint.
