Colorado Medina Alert: Car with Montana license plate sought after fatal hit-and-run accident

DENVER (KDVR) – The Denver Police Department has issued a Medina Alert for a minivan wanted in connection with a fatal hit-and-run crash.

On Tuesday, Denver police said a ticket was issued for a white Dodge Caravan with Montana license plate 2-99798B.


According to police, the car and its driver were allegedly involved in a hit-and-run crash that killed a pedestrian at 11:13 a.m. on June 25 in the 1000 block of East Colfax Avenue, in the Capitol Hill neighborhood.

The Colorado Bureau of Investigation said a woman was driving the minivan when she allegedly struck a man, who was pronounced dead, and then fled the scene.

The female suspect was described as white or Hispanic with brown eyes and black hair. She was last seen wearing a pink tank top and sunglasses.
