Porn star Austin Wolf arrested and charged with distribution of child pornography

Popular porn star Austin Wolf has been charged with distribution and receipt of child pornography as well as possession of child pornography.

The arrest of Wolf, whose real name is Justin Heath Smith, was announced Friday morning by the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York.

According to a press release, Wolf, 43, was charged with “sending and receiving hundreds of videos of child pornography through the Telegram application. These videos featured children as young as toddlers, including one video showing a 10-year-old child being bound and raped. In addition to sharing child pornography through Telegram, SMITH is also accused of possessing hundreds of additional videos of child pornography in his Manhattan apartment.”

He is believed to have distributed these images as late as March 2024, and on April 21, 2024, the FBI executed a search warrant on Smith’s Manhattan apartment, where they reportedly found an SD card containing “hundreds of videos of child pornography.”

“As alleged, Justin Heath Smith obtained and distributed hundreds of images of child pornography, including a gruesome video depicting a young child being bound, beaten and raped,” U.S. Attorney Damian Williams said in a statement. “Our investigation into Smith is ongoing, and we urge anyone with information about Smith’s conduct to call the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI. Together with our law enforcement partners, we will relentlessly pursue these child abusers and punish them to the fullest extent of the law.”

FBI Assistant Director James Smith added: “I want to be clear: Those who distribute images of child sexual abuse prey on the most vulnerable in our society. Each image is a crime scene that leaves lasting scars on innocent victims. The FBI is relentless in its pursuit of these perpetrators. We will track them down, arrest them, and ensure they are brought to justice for the harm they have caused.”

The minimum sentence for trafficking is five years and the maximum sentence is twenty years in prison, and the maximum sentence for possession is ten years in prison.

Wolf has nearly 800,000 followers on Instagram and nearly 1 million on X (formerly known as Twitter). Wolf’s X account contains pornographic material, including a recent video posted on June 20 titled “Have you seen what happens to little boys who follow me into the locker room?”

His Instagram comments have been disabled, but it is unclear when this change occurred.
