One dead in traffic accident in Lancaster County

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pennsylvania (WHTM) – One person was killed in a car crash Thursday in Lancaster County.

According to a Facebook post by Garden Spot Fire Rescue, a fatal accident occurred at the intersection of Peters Road and Shirk Road around 5 p.m.

Emergency crews were called to a reported car accident with entrapment and found a trapped person and two vehicles in fields on opposite sides of the road.

One person died in the crash, the post says.

The crew took hours to reconstruct the crash, the post says.
