Fairbury couple arrested following child sexual harassment investigation

FAIRBURY, Neb. (KOLN) – The Nebraska State Patrol arrested a Fairbury couple after investigating a reported sexual assault of a child.

According to court documents, 40-year-old Brandon Myers and his wife, 44-year-old Bobbi Myers, are accused of physically assaulting two children in Jefferson County. Brandon is also accused of sexually abusing one of the children, while Bobbi is accused of failing to report the sexual abuse.

Investigators arrested Brandon on May 2 on suspicion of third-degree assault, third-degree sexual assault of a child and child abuse. NSP said Myers, an employee of the Jefferson County Jail, was lodged at the Thayer County Jail.

Bobbi was arrested on May 7 on suspicion of child abuse and failure to report child abuse. Bobbi was booked into the Jefferson County Jail.

This is an ongoing investigation.
