Abilene man arrested for child sexual abuse | KTAB

ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – An Abilene man accused of sexually abusing a child has been arrested.

Carlos Yoc-Paz was taken into custody last month on charges of sexual abuse of a child in connection with allegations that came to light in May 2024.

According to court documents, a child under the age of 10 protested against Yoc-Paz and stated that he had been sexually abusing her for at least six months.

According to the documents, Yoc-Paz admitted in a subsequent interview that he became sexually aroused when the child sat on his lap.

Yoc-Paz remains held without bail in the Taylor County Jail as he is also being held on an immigration offense.
