Heavy police presence after incident in Scranton | 28/22 News

SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)— According to the Lackawanna County Emergency Communications Center (ECC), there is currently a heavy police presence in Scranton.

Scranton Police have cordoned off the 1600 block of Pine Street with a heavy police presence since 11:00 a.m.

Police have currently closed the intersection of Pine Street and Harrison Avenue in both directions.

Tactical units and a SWAT team are also currently conducting investigations on site.
