Stabbing leads to murder charge | State news

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – Early Sunday morning, police responded to a stabbing in the 500 block of Taylor Street. Officers found a 26-year-old male victim who later died at the hospital.

The scene was secured and Robbery-Homicide detectives were called to assist. Officers found Ruben Castro Jr., 26, a few blocks away with non-life threatening injuries. After receiving medical treatment, Castro was questioned and charged with murder.
