A man is dead after being found pinned between the door of his vehicle and a tree, officials confirmed. Emergency crews were called to Twin Pond Lane in South Fayette Township around 6 a.m. Wednesday morning for a report of a person pinned to a tree by a vehicle. When they arrived, officers found the vehicle idling. According to a preliminary investigation, the man does not appear to have put the car in park. Authorities believe the incident was an accident. The name of the person killed has not been released.

A man is dead after being found trapped between the door of his vehicle and a tree, officials confirmed.

When officers arrived, they found the vehicle idling. According to preliminary investigations, the man does not appear to have put the car in park mode.
