Man shot dead in Little Woods neighborhood

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — New Orleans police are investigating after a man was shot in the Little Woods neighborhood on Tuesday, June 4.

According to NOPD officers, they were called to the scene of a shooting in the 10100 block of Curran Boulevard around 10:41 a.m.

When officers arrived, they found a man with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office will release the victim’s identity after an autopsy is performed and family is notified.
