Alcohol suspected cause of fatal accident on Route 11 in Rockingham County

A 27-year-old County Rockingham Man is dead after a fatal accident on Thursday. Route 11.

Alcohol is considered the cause of the accident.

Justin L. McGuire of New Market died at the scene of the accident.

Accordingly Virginia State PoliceThe crash occurred on North Valley Pikesouth of Route 796 (Moores Mill Road), at 2:10 a.m.

According to police, McGuire’s Toyota Tacoma was traveling north on Route 11 when it crossed the center line, left the left side of the road and struck a tree.

The crash remains under investigation.
