Man arrested for running a drug factory at home

Police said they arrested a Norwalk man on Tuesday for operating a drug factory at his home in the Waypointe Apartment Complex on Merwin Street.

According to their own statements, the police seized more than 300 grams of fentanyl, 739 ecstasy pills, some crack cocaine, a scale and over $1,000 in cash from the apartment of 33-year-old Keith Johnson.

Johnson faces several charges, including possession and sale of a controlled substance.

His bail was set at $350,000 and he is due in court on June 11.
