Famous celebrity spotted at Minnesota Twins game on Sunday

Over the holiday weekend, Minnesotans had a chance to cheer on their favorite teams. The Timberwolves played the Mavericks at the Target Center in Minneapolis on Friday before heading to Texas to play Game 3. The Minnesota Twins were also in town, also playing a team from the Lone Star State. The Rangers came to visit, and thanks to some amazing hitting, the Twins won two of three games over Memorial Day weekend.

Fans who enjoyed the baseball game at Target Field on Sunday, May 26, did not see any of the winning plays, but they did have the opportunity to spot a celebrity.

Unless you were on X (formerly known as Twitter), you probably missed the announcement that a celebrity was at the stadium for the Minnesota Twins game. While many enjoyed the game and ate cheeseburgers and fries from the concession stands, others posted things like this on social media platforms:

“Steve Zahn is at the Twins game, attention, attention @DanaWessel”

– @gaultcommasarah on X

Was Steve Zahn actually at the Minnesota Twins game on Sunday?

In case you’re wondering if the celebrity news is real or not, I can tell you it was. My family went to see the Minnesota Twins on Sunday and while I was wiping bird poop out of my hair (true story), one of the fun games for fans came on the big screen. It was time to play celebrity lookalikes!

If you’re new to this game, they show a celebrity on the screen, and then the cameras look for someone in the stands who resembles that celebrity. They showed a great look-alike picture of a few celebrities, including Nancy Kerrigan. After a few funny likenesses, they showed a look-alike picture of a younger Steve Zahn. In my head I was thinking…”hh, that’s kind of rude,” and then they had a pretty good counterpart of him in his younger days. And then they wrote on the screen, “The current Steve Zahn,” with a pretty current photo. And then…they showed Steve Zahn…sitting in one of the seats at Target Field.

The crowd cheered and it was a great moment in the stadium. It would have been an even better day if the Minnesota Twins had won, but you know, it’s OK… we saw Steve Zahn.

This was not the first time Steve Zahn was spotted at a Minnesota Twins game

useful information – Steve Zahn has a cabin in Minnesota and has shown up at Target Field a few times to watch the Twins.

Did you know that Steve Zahn grew up in Minnesota?

Interesting facts no. 2 – Steve Zahn knows the land of 10,000 lakes pretty well. In fact, he was born here. He was born in Marshall, Minnesota in 1967 and also spent time in Mankato as a child. He also attended Gustavus Adolphus College for a semester. According to Wikipedia, he now has a cabin in Pine City, Minnesota.
