Crawford County coroner confirms Perry County father and two sons died in car crash

PERRY CO., Ind. (WFIE) – The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office said an accident has left three people dead.

According to a press release, the crash occurred on Monday, May 27 at around 2:35 p.m.

Officers said they were called to State Road 37 south of Zoo Road for a car crash.

When officers arrived on scene, they said they found a vehicle off the west side of the roadway.

According to the sheriff, the vehicle apparently left the roadway for an unknown reason. It then struck a guardrail and a tree, causing significant damage.

We have been informed that all three occupants of the vehicle were found dead when emergency services arrived.

The Crawford County Coroner’s Office confirmed that the three victims were a Perry County father and his two sons.

Authorities have not yet released their identities.

The Indiana State Police responded and are investigating the accident.
