Much calmer weather conditions for Southeast Texas this week. Expect only slight chances of showers or drizzle to start the week. The focus will be on temperatures, as afternoon highs will reach the 90s Tuesday through Thursday. Be careful during outdoor activities as temperatures will feel at or above 100. It’s early in the year for this kind of heat and our bodies still need time to adjust. A cold front Thursday evening lowers temperatures and could cause an isolated storm, likely north of Houston. Seasonal temperatures are expected to continue through the weekend.
