Police seek information on suspicious incident in Waterloo – Finger Lakes Daily News

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a recent suspicious incident on Burgess Road in the Town of Waterloo.

At this point, sheriff’s investigators can confirm that a dark minivan stopped on the road and the male driver was indeed interacting with a young woman. It is currently unknown what the male driver’s intention was, but it was reported that he asked the woman to get into the vehicle. Sheriff’s investigators have diligently followed up on leads and are working to confirm the identity of the male operator.

This case remains under investigation and further information will be released as it becomes available. The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office is working closely with several other law enforcement agencies on this investigation. This information is currently being shared for public safety purposes only.
