Truck catches fire after crash in Audrain County west of Vandalia – KXEO

A road in Audrain County was closed following a tractor-trailer accident during the afternoon hours of Friday, May 10, 2024.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol accident report, the accident occurred at 11 a.m. on Route P west of Vandalia and west of County Road 557.

The truck left the road to the right, crashed into a bridge, got partially into a stream and caught fire.

The tractor part was on fire and fuel was leaking from the tanks.

The truck was carrying a load of solar panels.

40-year-old Hector A. Osorio Lopez suffered minor injuries and was taken to University Hospital by ambulance.
