Chicago Crime: Police alert North Side businesses after four attacked in Andersonville, Norwood Park and Edison Park

CHICAGO (WLS) — Chicago police have released new video as part of their investigation into a series of burglaries on the city’s north side on Friday.

According to police, the suspects attacked four businesses within about an hour.

Three men used hammers to break open the glass doors of stores in Andersonville, Norwood Park and Edison Park.

The thieves stole cash, safes and cash drawers.

A new video shows the burglars breaking into the store on July 19 and stealing cash from the cash register.

The crimes occurred at the following locations:

– 1400 block of West Balmoral Avenue at 2:25 a.m.

– 6100 block of North Northwest Highway at 2:50 a.m.

– 6700 block of North Olmsted Avenue at 3:18 a.m.

– 6700 block of North Olmsted Avenue at 3:19 a.m.

According to Chicago police, the burglars wore black masks, a black hoodie and gloves.
