Man dies in accident on Highway 23 near Willmar

WILLIAM (WJON News) – A man was killed in an accident on Highway 23 near Willmar.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the incident occurred around 7:45 a.m. on Tuesday.

A semi-trailer truck driven by a 30-year-old Marlo Guevara von Willmar went east.

A car driven by a 42-year-old Jose Nunez from Willmar was traveling westbound. They collided near the intersection with County Road 5 Southwest.

Nunez died in the accident. He was not wearing a seatbelt. Guevara was not injured.
