A 16-year-old British girl was raped in Crete after she left her parents to go to the toilet in a bar while police hunted the 28-year-old suspect

A British teenager was reportedly raped in a bar on a Greek island where she was staying with her parents.

The 16-year-old girl was attacked in a bar in Crete after leaving her parents to go to the toilet.

The alleged attack occurred on Wednesday evening in Malia, where the teenager was on vacation with her parents, Proto Thema reports.

The young Brit reported the rape to local police and said the perpetrator disappeared after the attack.

After reviewing CCTV footage from the venue and other bars in the area, police were able to identify the man.

Greek police have launched a manhunt for the suspected perpetrator, a 28-year-old Pakistani citizen.

This comes after another British tourist was raped in a horrific attack in Benidorm last month.

The woman was repeatedly raped by three men after they kidnapped her from a pub.

The attackers were each sentenced to over eight years in prison after being found guilty of the horrific crime following a court trial Court in Alicante.

Another Briton was allegedly raped on a beach near Magaluf last month.
