Your first alert for a nice break from the heat and some much needed rain

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – A cold front has moved through the Mid-South, bringing cool, dry air to much of the region. Thankfully, cooler temperatures will stick around for the next few days, but rain chances will soon increase.

TONIGHT: Partly cloudy with a slight chance of isolated showers, a northeast wind 5 to 10 mph and overnight lows in the low 60s to high 180s.

FRIDAY: Partly cloudy with a slight chance of rain, a northeast wind 5 to 10 mph, and afternoon highs in the 80s to 90s F.

FRIDAY NIGHT: Partly cloudy with a light northeast wind and lows overnight of around 18 degrees.

THE WEEKEND: On Saturday it will be partly cloudy with a slight chance of isolated showers. Maximum temperatures will be above 30 degrees and minimum temperatures at night above 25 degrees. On Sunday it will be mainly cloudy with a chance of rain in the late day and evening. Maximum temperatures will be above 30 degrees and minimum temperatures at night above 25 degrees.

NEXT WEEK: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday will be mostly cloudy with isolated rain showers and a few thunderstorms each day. Maximum temperatures will be around 30 degrees Celsius and minimum temperatures at night around 25 degrees Celsius. On Thursday it will be mostly cloudy with a chance of rain and maximum temperatures again around 30 degrees Celsius.
