Police pursuit of a juvenile with a gun led to a brief lockout at PSLA @ Fowler High School

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The PSLA at Fowler High School was locked out Thursday morning.

According to a spokesperson for the Syracuse City School District, Syracuse Police notified the district that “an incident had occurred in the community” and for the safety of students and staff, the building was locked out at 10:18 a.m

Syracuse police report a teenager was chased across the soccer field with a gun before being arrested. According to police, they never entered the school.

Classes in the building continued as normal while police investigated until the lockout was lifted at 11:15 a.m
