Overturned truck blocks road in Mauldin

MAULDIN, SC (FOX Carolina) – Emergency crews are on scene where a truck overturned in Mauldin.

A large flatbed truck, apparently hauling boxes, overturned on Miller Road near Berry Road.

Mauldin police said the accident was first reported around 2 p.m. The pickup truck was carrying toilets, police said.

Officials initially said there were no injuries, but confirmed shortly before 5:30 p.m. that the truck driver had been taken to hospital.

Rescue workers are working to clear the scene of the accident.
