Kate Hudson says she can see dead people

I know it’s popular to say that famous people are just like us, but sometimes it’s really true. Pretty much everyone has wondered whether or not there is an afterlife, what it might mean, and has pondered the existence of ghosts or other supernatural phenomena, and that includes celebrities. Well, actress/singer/destroys bikini wearer Kate Hudson I just said that she can see dead people, and…let’s just hear what she has to say, okay?

What did Kate Hudson say about seeing dead people?

Look, when people talk about things like seeing ghosts, demons, etc. from the supernatural world, they usually talk about it in theoretical terms. That’s because in some circles (the Earth. The Earth is the circle) saying things like “After my grandma died and had dinner with me every night for a month” gets some amused/horrified sideways glances. I really think it’s just a joy when celebrities like it Oscar nominee Kate Hudson speak openly about their experiences with the other side.

She was recently interviewed by Howard Stern for his SiriusXM show and was asked to confirm that she can see dead people and she replied:

I can see everything. It’s like getting messages like that. When I was a little girl it was actually pretty wild because I could see ghosts all the time… Yeah, it was a bit like The Sixth Sense when I was younger.

I have questions. However, these are probably not your standard questions after someone makes such a statement. I’m out here living my life and I have seen…something in the past, so I won’t judge her statement. Saying you see ghosts is one thing, but WTF does “I can see everything” mean?!

Stern teased her a bit by asking if his late father was in the studio and yelling at him as an idiot, but I really wish he had asked a few more specific questions. What kind of “messages” does she receive and how are they received? Where does she see “everything” and what is it? Let’s talk about dead people and demons that possess people, about angels who save people from catastrophic fates, about ghouls, poltergeists, mythical creatures, vampires, werewolves…Skulls masquerading as humans?!?!

And how do her experiences, which appear to be quite extensive, compare with other celebrity reports of ghost sightings? She ever had Sex with a ghost like Bobby Brownor to be tempted engaged to marry one of these spirits? She has one Spirit Guardians like Octavia Spencer? She continued, noting that she believes there is an actual science-based explanation for the afterlife as a whole, leading to all the deaths she has seen before:

It’s more likely scientific than we even know. I think it’s very multidimensional. We’ll see when we get there, but I think it’ll be pretty damn weird. But nice.

I don’t know about you, but I consider myself very lucky that 1) I only saw something once and 2) it was just weird and didn’t fill me with absolutely life-changing terror, so whether there is a scientific answer as to why Whether there are ghosts or not, it doesn’t matter to me. As for the potential damn craziness of the afterlife, well, Kate, that’s an issue Adrienne will have to deal with in the future, because there’s already enough going on in today’s Adrienne.
