Newark man arrested on warrant – Finger Lakes Daily News

A Newark man was arrested by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office during an investigation into unrest in the city of Sodus.

Marcus Beane was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court for petty theft and illegal possession of a controlled substance. The charges stem from an incident in which Beane allegedly had a controlled substance on his person.

Beane, 39, was released on a summons to appear in Sodus Municipal Court.
