Police investigate ‘suspicious’ death in Mesa home

MESA, AZ (AZFamily) — Police are investigating a “suspicious” death after a person was found dead in their Mesa home Friday morning.

Officers were called to the home near Center Street and McKellips Road, just east of Country Club Drive, after someone called 911 and said they found their roommate dead in their home.

The coroner’s office is working to determine the cause of death. Until this is determined, police are treating the crime scene as suspicious.

The victim was not identified.
