Teenager in court accused of raping two girls

A PLEA hearing has been scheduled for a teenager accused of raping two teenage girls.

The young boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday (July 4) charged with three counts of rape.

It is alleged that he raped two separate teenage girls in Chipping Norton and Charlbury between May 25 and 28 last year. The two complainants in the case cannot be named for legal reasons.

The 16-year-old appeared for an initial hearing in the lower court, but his case has now been adjourned in favor of a plea hearing and trial preparation.

He must now appear again at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on July 31 for his plea hearing and trial preparation.
