Group attacks man with machete after he became aggressive in traffic

A man was arrested after attacking someone with a machete in an alleged driving aggression incident in Colerain Township on Monday, according to police.

In a news release, Colerain Township police said officers were dispatched to the 8400 block of Colerain Avenue around 2:02 p.m. A victim at the scene said he was being chased by someone following a possible road rage incident that began on Ronald Reagan Highway.

The victim and his passenger were stopped at a traffic light on Colerain Avenue when several suspects got out of a vehicle and approached them, the press release said.

They opened the victim’s door and began attacking him with a large machete, inflicting “significant” cuts to his limbs, police said.
