Rick Ross was reportedly attacked for playing Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” after his performance at Vancouver’s Ignite Music Festival on Sunday night, TMZ claims. Videos of Ross circulating on social media show him leaving the stage after his performance and getting into an argument with several people that escalated into a larger brawl — TMZ claims 15 men surrounded Ross and his crew, forming a “wall” around them. His loyalty to Lamar isn’t surprising, given that Drake called out Ross in the diss track “Push Ups,” in which he claimed all of Ross’s charting songs were because of him. Ross retaliated with his own several hours after the song leaked, accusing Drake of having plastic surgery.

Aside from diss tracks and physical altercations, Ross seemed unfazed by the whole thing; his social media posts are business as usual, even writing “Vancouver, it was fun, see you next time” in Instagram stories without mentioning the brawl at all. And as for Drake, he reportedly liked a video of the brawl on Instagram and then spent the rest of Canada Day bringing a little joy to his country with his Hello Kitty nail art (which is five maple leaves tall, by the way).
