Bronx woman attacked and raped by burglar

BRONX, NY – An unidentified man forcibly entered a home near East 230th Street and White Plains Road early Saturday and assaulted a 20-year-old woman.

The incident occurred at approximately 4:30 a.m. After the attack, the suspect fled the scene on foot.

The attacker was described as wearing a white tank top, dark shorts and white socks. Authorities are asking anyone with information to come forward to help with the ongoing investigation.
