Paragould man charged with sexual abuse of child

PARAGOULD, Arkansas (KAIT) – Police have arrested a 45-year-old Paragould man on suspicion of sexual abuse of a child.

According to court documents, officers responded to a report of a sexual assault on June 19 at a home on Rector Road.

The victim reportedly told police that Aundra Woods “violently pulled down” their shirts and attacked them.

During a conversation with a forensic interviewer from the Arkansas State Police Crimes Against Children Unit, the victim “disclosed what constitutes a second sexual assault and sexual abuse of a child,” the affidavit states.

After reviewing the case, Greene County District Court Judge Daniel Stidham found there was probable cause to arrest Woods for second-degree sexual assault and sexual abuse of a child.
