Adeline Ramos dies, Amadeo Manera charged in two-car drunk driving crash on Highway 180 near Cornelia Avenue

FRESNO COUNTY, CA (June 24, 2024) — Adeline Ramos died in a two-car accident involving drunk driving on Highway 180 near Cornelia Avenue.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal accident occurred under the influence of alcohol on Thursday at around 0:15 a.m. Due to drunk driving, the 21-year-old Amadeo Menerafrom Kerman moved his 2019 Nissan Versa from the westbound lane to the eastbound lane. His Sentra then collided with an eastbound Nissan Versa.

Paramedics arrived shortly afterward and took 43-year-old Ramos, a passenger in a Nissan Versa, to a local hospital, where she died. Menera and the other driver suffered serious injuries and were taken to a hospital.
