Orthodox priest and several police officers killed in shootings in Russia’s Dagestan |

A shooting broke out near a synagogue and a church in Derbent in the southern Russian republic of Dagestan on Sunday, Russian news agencies reported, citing the regional Interior Ministry. An Orthodox priest was killed in a fire at the synagogue, a policeman was killed and another injured, reports said.
