Man shot dead after argument over money in DeKalb County apartment complex

DEKALB COUNTY, Georgia – DeKalb County police are investigating a homicide that occurred at an apartment complex.

Police said they were called to a call about a firearm being used in Peachtree Creek Circle just after 6 p.m. Saturday night. When they arrived, they found a 50-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds near the pool.

The address corresponds to the Arium Peachtree Creek apartment complex.

The victim died at the scene of the accident, police said.

Police said they arrested a 31-year-old man without incident. The man and the victim had an argument over money before shots were fired. Officers said the two men knew each other.
