A Philadelphia police officer was reportedly shot in Harrowgate

A Philadelphia police officer was reportedly shot and seriously injured Saturday night when a gunman opened fire in the city’s Harrowgate district.

The shooting reportedly occurred around 7:30 p.m. in the 3500 block of F Street.

6abc quoted a police source as saying the officer was shot in the head.

The police were initially unavailable for comment.
