In Laurel County, KY, a Golden Alert has been issued for missing elderly man Tommy Grimes

LONDON, Ky. (FOX 56) – Police in Laurel County are searching for a missing elderly man who was reportedly last seen Thursday.

According to the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office, 81-year-old Tommy Grimes was last seen around 4 p.m. Thursday on U.S. 25, two miles north of London.

Authorities described Grimes as 5’10”, 200 pounds, with a slim build and partially gray hair above his ears. He was wearing a red plaid western shirt, blue jeans and black shoes.

Grimes was driving a white Freightliner reefer box truck and could be anywhere in Florida, the sheriff’s office said.
