Police department near Houston celebrates academy graduates | Texas

WHARTON, TX — The Wharton Police Department announced the graduation of its Citizens Police Academy #9.

The group met weekly for 10 weeks, gaining insight into various aspects of Wharton PD, and receiving instruction from Wharton Fire and Wharton EMS. “We are very proud of their accomplishment and excited that they will be part of the Wharton Police Department family,” the department said.
