Lebanon County Police Search for Suspect

According to police, the attack occurred in the Downtown Lounge after the bartender asked two guests to leave because of their behavior.

LEBANON COUNTY, Pennsylvania – Police in Lebanon County are searching for a man who allegedly attacked a bartender on Wednesday.

According to Lebanon City Police, a bartender was attacked at the Downtown Lounge on Cumberland Street around 5:20 p.m. on June 12.

The bartender reportedly asked two people to leave the premises because of their behavior, but was attacked by one of the two as he escorted her out.

According to police, both people fled the scene after the attack.

During the investigation, officers contacted a resident who lives on Cumberland Street and is a known acquaintance of the two suspects. However, he did not fully cooperate and delayed the investigation.

On June 13, detectives working to identify the suspects made contact with one of them at a residence on South Gannon Street and confirmed his involvement.

At this location, the second suspect, identified as Ricardo Berrios-Hernandez, 27, jumped from a second-story window and fled from police. Several residents helped police by remembering where he went.


Despite the public’s help, the Berrios-Hernandez were able to escape.

A vehicle belonging to Berrios-Hernandez was also found in the same house on South Gannon Street.

Lebanon City Police have charged Berrios-Hernandez with aggravated assault and issued a warrant for his arrest. Police confirmed that the investigation is ongoing and there is a possibility that more people will be charged.
