Texas A&M fans kicked out of CWS after incident in Florida dugout

Sports

The SEC likes to put it this way: It simply means more.

Two fans took this saying too far on Saturday night at the College World Series.

During the game between Florida and Texas A&M in Omaha, Texas A&M fans were ejected from the field after they approached the Florida players’ bench and insulted the Gators.

As a video shows, security forces led the fans out of the stadium.

However, the fans’ antics may have helped Texas A&M.

Florida did not contest a key play during the incident. After A&M scored on an infield single, one of the fans was seen yelling at the Florida player and both were later seen being escorted out of the stadium by security.

A&M eventually won the game 3-2, so at least the fans were satisfied, even though they had to leave the game in the second inning.

Florida now faces an elimination game against NC State on Monday afternoon, while Texas A&M faces Kentucky on Monday night.
