Roadside aggression incident on I-77 leads to Canton man’s arrest – Jordan Miller News

A road rage incident led to the arrest of a Canton man Wednesday morning after he allegedly brandished a gun during an altercation on Interstate 77.

On Thursday, June 12, at approximately 10:15 a.m., the Summit County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call reporting an incident of driving aggression in the southbound lanes of I-77 near Green. The victim reported that the suspect repeatedly cut her off and displayed a handgun.

The Sheriff’s Office quickly received a description of the suspect and his vehicle and enlisted the assistance of the Ohio State Highway Patrol. The combined efforts of both agencies resulted in the identification and location of the suspect in Stark County.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol stopped the vehicle and identified the suspect as Logan S. Ebby, 30, of Canton. Officers recovered the handgun found in his possession.

Ebby was arrested by the Summit County Sheriff’s Office for aggravated menacing and reckless conduct. He was taken to the Summit County Jail.

Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
