Kangana Ranaut, Varun Dhawan, Siddharth Anand and others condemn Reasi terror attack: ‘Despicable, evil, unforgivable’ | Bollywood

On June 9, a gruesome attack took place when armed terrorists opened fire on a bus carrying pilgrims in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir. Bollywood artists, including actor and politician Kangana Ranaut, strongly condemned the incident. Varun Dhawan, Siddharth Anand and Anupam Kher conveyed their condolences to the families of the victims who died in the attack. Kangana-Varun condemn cowardly attack

Kangana Ranaut, Varun Dhawan and others condemned the terror attack in Reasi.

Kangana wrote on Twitter: “I strongly condemn the cowardly terrorist attack on the pilgrims in Reasi, Jammu and Kashmir. I pray for the deceased and hope for a speedy recovery of the injured. Om Shanti.” Varun wrote on Instagram: “Devastated by the cruel attack on innocent pilgrims in Reasi. I strongly condemn this cowardly act of terror. I pray for the souls of the deceased. My condolences to the victims and their families. Om Shanti.”

Siddharth Anand posts “All eyes are on the attack on Vashno Devi”

Siddharth, who recently shot Fighter, inspired by the 2019 Pulwama attack, posted a picture with the caption, “All eyes are on the Vaishno Devi attack.” He further wrote, “Despicable. Evil. Unforgivable. Innocent pilgrims. Children. Murdered by COWARDS. (heartbroken emoji).” Anupam also tweeted the pictures of the victims of the Reasi attack and captioned it, “Angry, pained and saddened by the cowardly attack on the pilgrims in Reasi. Jammu! May Almighty give the families of the victims the strength to bear the pain and loss. Prayers for speedy recovery to the injured.”

Terrorist attack in Reasi

For those unaware, the victims were mostly pilgrims who had gone to the Vaishno Devi temple to offer prayers. Mohita Sharma, the Reasi superintendent of police, said, “Today, a group of militants attacked a yatri bus coming from Ransoo area in Reasi district. The attack caused the bus driver to lose control and the bus fell into a deep ravine near Kanda area in Pouni. In the accident, nine people died and 33 others were injured.”
