Man dies in stabbing in Modesto; suspect arrested

(FOX40.COM) — A man was killed Saturday night after being stabbed during a fight in Stanislaus County, according to Modesto police.

According to police, the incident occurred around 7:30 p.m. on Trenary Way, about a mile west of George Rogers Park.


When police arrived at the scene, officers found two men suffering from stab wounds. Abraham Terrones-Linares, 27, was immediately taken to a hospital where medical personnel pronounced him dead from his injuries.

The other man at the scene, 33-year-old Abel Camarillo, was treated for non-life-threatening injuries before being arrested and charged with murder, police said.

“The details of this incident remain under investigation,” Modesto police said.
