Atlanta Police Search for Man Who Robbed Employee Emptying Slot Machines – WSB-TV Channel 2

ATLANTA — Atlanta police are searching for a man who allegedly robbed a gas station employee after he emptied slot machines.

On Sunday, June 2, police said they responded to 1683 Lakewood Avenue in southeast Atlanta just before midnight for a theft call. The address corresponds to an Amoco gas station.

When they arrived, police said they spoke with the gas station manager who said that while one of the employees was collecting money from the slot machines and putting it in a bag, an unidentified black man walked towards the bag full of money and while the attendant wasn’t looking, the man grabbed the bag and fled.

The suspect is a black man with a slim build, wearing a gray t-shirt with black skinny jeans, white sneakers and a black skullcap.
